Cockpit View of Snow & Bad Visibility Berlin SXF Runway 07

Landing on a rather Snowy morning at Berlin with impaired visibility and low cloud. The ATIS was : 090/8 — 2500m — B/002 — S/004 — M3/M4 — 1029. The Arrival was the Lanum arrival to runway 07, which you can see in the start of the Video as I briefly go over the Arrival Plates. Boeing reccomends a relatively Firm landing in these conditions to reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

Boeing 747-8 Freighter First Flight

With 747 Chief Pilot Mark Feuerstein and Capt. Tom Imrich in the flight deck, the 747-8 Freighter took off at 12:39 p.m. local time, Feb. 8 from Paine Field in Everett, Washington and landed at Paine Field at 4:18 p.m.

The 747-8 followed a route over Western Washington, where it underwent tests for basic handling qualities and engine performance. The airplane reached a cruising altitude of 17,000 feet (5,181 m) and a speed up to 230 knots, or about 264 miles (426 km) per hour. First Flight launches a test program that will include more than 1,600 flight hours.

While Video capturing Landings and Take offs @ TGU we happened to witness this B-737-300 previously owned by US Airways dangerously landing in which @ a moment it appeared as if the aircraft was going to over run the landing strip.

This is an unedited view of a Boeing 747 landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) near dusk. In regards to the zooming comments, I only zoomed to the cockpit window, a mere 5 feet from the jumpseat. It is framed top and bottom in the shot. If you have seen my takeoff video, you know you can barely see anything outside if you do not. Anyway, the landing speed is well over 120 knots.
